MKERMIT.COM - the micro half of a mainframe-micro communication
package currently under development.  It is currently supported by,
and running on, U. C. Berkeley's CMS and Unix systems (care of the
University Computing Services).  

UNIX.DOC and CMS.DOC describe the use of the mainframe half of
KERMIT on these two UCB computers.

                            WARNING
MKERMIT is not without bugs:  the university computing service is
looking for feedback on how well it works.
