Error Recovery Assistance The unexpected input indicated in the error message has been discarded. Any remaining input can still be processed if you so desire. You can insert, delete, continue with the remainder of input, or backup (to stop entering the current parameter). The added to the normal prompt indicates that you are recovering from an error and therefore have the following special options: Normal Typing: Insert input and then return to normal processing (just type what you want inserted). Control-B: Leave the current Parameter and then continue by selecting another error recovery option. Conrol-D: Delete the next input word and then continue by selecting another error recovery option. If all input has been deleted, a final Control-D will close a parameter input file if one is in use. RETURN: Process remaining input and return to normal interaction. (Including unprocessed lines of a parameter input file.) Control-X: Discard all remaining input (including parameter file input) and return to normal processing. This is the same as many Control-D's followed by 'RETURN'. r backup
