MEX.INF modifications by Ted Nevels 1. Function keys are set automatically when MEX is executed. A one line menu appears to give the choice to display or not. If you want to display, then give an extra "quick" after entering the program name at the A> prompt and the menu will not appear. 2. Function keys are reset to David Kozinn's WordStar favorites (see November, 1985 EpsonConnection pages 38 and 39) when MEX is exited. 3. When "cloning" this function key modified version of MEX, add one more step to the process: when the [MEX PX-8] A0:>> prompt appears after the clone command has executed, exit the program and immediately type "SAVE 103 MEX.COM" (no quotes) or else you will lose the function key routines that have been added to the end and the program will jump to undefined addresses and hang the next time it is executed.
