These disks were sent to me by Neil Thayer in April, 2016. Here's our email exchange:

Hi,

At first, I was going to separately contact the owners of what seemed like the appropriate websites, but after I found your hub for CP/M software links, I thought it might be better to go through you first. :)

Awhile back, I rescued a large cache of material from a former member of the Boston Computer Society. This haul included a functioning Kaypro 2 and many, many disks. I've now started going through the disks, ripping images of them, and testing them in the MESS emulator (so, .IMD/.DSK format). My first batch has been a dozen or so "BOSKUG" disks - the BCS's Kaypro User Group. After looking through the various repositories, I'm pretty certain that almost none of what I'm imaging is already available.

I myself don't have a place to post this material, so I thought I would start with you and see if you had any advice.

Regards,

Neil

Umm, heck, yeah, I'll take 'em. :) Dunno if you participate in any PC/m discussion groups, but making an announcement in, say, comp.os.cpm should generate some interest.

Ok, my next email to you will contain three zips:

BOSKUG_Disk_Images_IMD.zip
BOSKUG_Disk_Images_DSK.zip
BOSKUG_Directory_Listings.zip

There was no easy way for me to extract the directory listings, unfortunately - my best option was to take screenshots in the MESS emulator. Those are included as PNG images.

The contents are what you'd expect from a user group: apps, utilities, games, etc. I haven't yet executed each and every program on the disks, but I can tell you that all the disks were imaged with no errors. Also, disks 302, 303, and 304 contain games, including a Pac-Man clone. 801 seems to have data related to the print newsletter for the group ("kugel").

I've also included the images in DSK format, in case you want something that easily loads into MESS, for you to poke around.

Please let me know if you need anything else. I'll post something in comp.os.cpm whenever they go up
