What do I need to play?
-----------------------
1) You need a Z-Code interpreter to play the game.pdb file
2) Optionally you need a DOC reader to view the solve.pdb & intro.pdb text files
2) Optionally you "Image viewer" to view the map.pdb map file (no other
   viewer will work properly!)

Where can you get these apps?

In this archive there is a PROGRAMS directory which has versions of the needed
programs that were available as of Nov 1st 1998.

PalmPilot Entertainment Zone has all the up to date files in their File area
http://www.fidalgo.net/~ram/
From the main screen click the file cabinet to go there or use the

How do I install the games?
---------------------------
1) Unzip the .ZIP file PRESERVING SUB-DIRECTORIES that way every game
will be in its own directory/folder.
2) Load the PalmPilot App Install tool that installed with your
   pilot desktop.
3) Select ADD and go to the directory of the game you want to play.
Select the PDB files you wish to install.
At the very minimum, you need to install the
GAME.PDB file, since this is the game itself. If you have a DOC
reader or Image viewer then you can optionally install the games
SOLVE.PDB, INTRO.PDB and MAP.PDB files to get a little help through the game.
4) Once you've choosen what to install, you're ready for the hotsync.
Dock your Pilot and press your hotsync button.
5) When the hotsync completes you can load up ZIP, DOC or IVIEWER and
you should see the files in those apps 'lister' screens. Tap on
the on the document to view/play and the app will display it.

How do I read the map?
----------------------
You need Image Viewer to properly view the map. Tiny Viewer doesn't support
image text, neither does SPEC. So you need Image Viewer, then you can open
the map and view it. Each 'room' is numbered, and if you view the image
text you will that number with a what the room is.

GAME <whatever> SAYS IT'S NOT REGISTERED
----------------------------------------
You may get this if you are using the ZIP z-code interpreter.
This is NOT a message from one of the games, this is a message from
ZIP, the engine used to play the games. If you wish to register ZIP
there is a link to do so on PalmPilot Entertainment Zone. From the
main screen, choose the LINKS pulldown and choose PEZ Related Links.
You will see a REGISTER link beside ZIP.

I CAN'T SAVE MY GAME AFTER 50 MOVES
-----------------------------------
This is a restriction of the shareware ZIP engine. To register it,
follow the link of PalmPilot Entertainment Zone. From the main
screen, choose the LINKS pulldown and choose PEZ Related Links.
You will see a REGISTER link beside ZIP. Pilot-Frotz however is free
and has no restrictions.
