Q: I have a RAPIDOS disk, but VDISK identifies it as being a TRSDOS disk. Why?
A: No problem, as long as VDISK output looks fine. Many TRS-80 operating systems have a very similar disk organization, so VDISK treats them as if they were all TRSDOS variants. Special cases have specific modules to handle each of them.

Q: Why sometimes VDISK can't export the BOOT.SYS file and gives the error "The drive cannot find the sector requested"?
A: This is because the directory entry indicates that the BOOT.SYS file occupies the entire first track of the disk, but that track is formatted with a different density in comparision to the rest of the disk, meaning that VDISK can find only half of the tracks that the directory is telling the program to look for.

Q: VDISK crashes when attempting to read one of my disks. Why should I do?
A: You may e-mail me your disk file with a brief description of how to reproduce the error, if you wish. If it turns out to be a bug in the code, I will fix it before releasing the next version and I'll give you credit for pointing it out. If it happens to be something wrong with your disk, I'll send you a private note.
