     Thank you for purchasing your copy of Jugg'ler-128.  If you are a serious 
CP/M  user,  we know that you will be happy with it.   This program is used to 
"install"  extra  disk  types into your CP/M Plus  operating  system  for  the 
Commodore-128.   It  is NOT a general file copying/translation utility.   Once 
the  extra disk types have been installed,  your normal CP/M programs such  as 
PIP,  SWEEP, DIR, SID, etc. as well as applications such as dBase and WordStar 
can access these disks directly without any further assistance,  just as  they 
can access any of the C-128's native CP/M disk types.   Jugg'ler also lets you 
format  new disks in most of the supported types.   


    Please note:  Because Jugg'ler relies on certain hardware features 
    of the C-128, it will not work with any other CP/M based computer. 



About Jugg'ler
--------------

     Jugg'ler offers a number of useful features such as auto-boot, definition 
of  default  disk  types,  analysis of unknown disk types,  and  quick  backup 
options.   For a full description of how to use any of these features,  please 
consult your manual.

     The disk definition parameters for Jugg'ler are contained in the separate 
disk  file JUGG.DAT.   The current version of this file contains listings  for 
over  140 disk types.   If your particular disk type is not listed,  we  would 
like  to  hear from you.   Since the file is updated on a regular  basis,  new 
additions  are  always welcome.   Send a sample of the disk with a  couple  of 
ASCII  text  files on it,  along with a description of the computer  it  comes 
from, to:

     With  a  1571  disk drive,  the following disk types  can  be  supported: 
Single or Double density,  Single or Double sided MFM soft sectored, 40 tracks 
per  side.    With a 1581,  only Double density 80 tracks per side,  Single or 
Double sided disks can be supported. 

     Disks  with  non-MFM  recording  schemes such as  Apple  CP/M  cannot  be 
supported,  neither  can disks with weird sector numbering schemes (disk  with 
non-sequential sector numbering or where side 0 does not begin at sector 0  or 
sector 1).

However, when used within the limitations of the  instructions outlined in the 
accompanying  manual,   Jugg'ler  will   perform its stated task  of  allowing
